Certificate lasts for 1 year
This course covers Manual Handling (The Legal Aspects), the body & what can go wrong during Manual Handling, the Principles of Safe Moving & Handling, In House Policy & Assessments.
If within a care setting we can include a practical training session that covers the use of hoists, stand aid (if needed), handling belts and slide sheets.
